How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

The air cleaner intake duct must be removed before starting throttle body assembly replacement work. The process starts with removing throttle body electrical connection followed by conduit wiring harness adjustment and removal of throttle body bolts. Remove the throttle body assembly and its gasket one unit at a time. Clean the throttle body mounting surfaces to remove all gasket and seal material before installing both the throttle body assembly and a NEW gasket. Tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in) before reinstalling both the wiring harness conduit and the throttle body electrical connector. Put the air cleaner intake duct back into place then activate throttle learn procedures before clearing all DTCs using a scan tool.
