    A: The replacement of the global positioning system Antenna for cellular communications/digital radio begins with removing the rear sail panels then avoiding paint or clear coat application on the Antenna to maintain its operational accuracy. Tear down the rear section of the headliner while paying close attention to avoid bending that may harm it. You should first pull off the foam tape securing the Antenna cable junction before disconnecting the cable connectors and unthreading the Antenna bolt together with its expansion sleeve to take out the Antenna. Remove the Antenna mast from the Antenna Base through the removal of securing screws and mast detachment. Compose the new Antenna on the roof by mounting the wiring pigtail in the shaft slot and inserting the Antenna expansion sleeve and bolt then fasten the bolt to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Attach Antenna connectors before wrapping them with foam tape which should then lead to connecting the Antenna cable above the am/fm Antenna module and sealing the cable with hold down clips. Reinstall the rear sail panels when you have aligned the headliner to the roof panel. Secure the Antenna mast to its base using screws which should be tightened to 1 n.m torque value (9 lb in force).
