How to replace the idler arm on 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?

In order to change the idler arm, collect the tools and lift the car. If fitted with engine protection shield, take it out, then loosen the idler arm with the Universal Steering Linkage Puller. Fit the new idler arm, tighten the frame bolts, and fit the relay rod. Install the engine protection shield again and test the stanza of wheels.
