How to replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

To replace the Engine Control Module (ECM), first disconnect the negative Battery Cable while taking battery disconnect (Caution). Next, disconnect the ecm connectors, and remove the ecm retaining bolts before removing ecm from ecm mount. For installation, install the ecm in position and clamp it on the ecm mount by the retaining bolts and tighten them to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Finally, connect the negative Battery Cable back and continue to program the ecm, conduct the ckp system variation learn procedure, and finish the idle learn procedure.
