Starting with Battery Cable disconnections you should begin by disconnecting the negative terminal while observing proper safety protocols. The replacement process starts with disconnecting the oss sensor electrical connector followed by unscrewing its retainer bolt before removing the sensor from its transaxle position. Apply t-iv automatic transmission fluid gm p/n 88900925 (Canadian P/N 22689186) to the o-ring before placing a new o-ring onto the oss sensor. Place the oss sensor inside the transaxle alongside its retaining bolt then tighten the bolt to 7.4 nm (65 inch lbs.). Reconnect both the oss sensor electrical connector and the negative Battery Cable.
