How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the Output Shaft on 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?

The first step to replace the output shaft speed sensor requires disconnecting both the negative Battery Cable and the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor electrical connector. Start by removing the oss sensor retaining bolt to take out the sensor from inside the transaxle. The o-ring requires a coat of t-iv automatic transmission fluid gm p/n 88900925 (Canadian P/N 22689186) before installation because you must use a new o-ring for the oss sensor. First install the oss sensor along with its retaining bolt inside the transaxle before securing the bolt with 7.4 n.m force (65 lb in torque). To complete the installation reconnect the oss sensor electrical connector followed by the negative Battery Cable.
