  A: To remove the Oil Pan, in the first place, you need to peel the negative Battery Cable and unhook the right front wheel and splash shield. Remove the engine oil from the crankcase and disconnect the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S). Remove the catalytic nuts on the lower flange of the Exhaust Manifold and the bolts on the bracket, and lastly the nuts on the front pipe. Remove the Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Pipe as a unit, take out the bolts that are used to fix the Oil Pan to the transaxle housing as well as the bolt used in fixing the transaxle housing to the Oil Pan. Now remove the grommet and the Oil Pan retaining bolts and remove the Oil Pan from the engine block and the Oil Pan gasket. Reinstall the catalytic converters and Exhaust Pipe together, tighten the Catalytic Converter to the Exhaust Manifold nut to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.); the Exhaust Pipe bracket bolt to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.); and the front muffler nut to 30nm(22 ft. Lbs.). Relace the right front splash shield and wheel, reconnect the negative Battery Cable, and refill the engine crankcase with engine oil.
