How to Replace the Radiator Hose for LU3, LR4, LM7, and LQ4 Engines on 2006 Chevrolet Express 1500?

The replacement of Radiator inlet hoses for engines lu3, lm7, lr4 and lq4 starts with draining a portion of the cooling system fluid. Attach the hose pliers (J38185) to move the Radiator clamp to the inlet before moving it to the Thermostat Housing. You should dismount the Radiator inlet hose from both locations involving the Radiator and the Thermostat Housing. Initially install the new Radiator inlet hose and sequentially attach it between the Radiator and the Thermostat Housing. Position the hose clamps at both the Thermostat Housing and the Radiator inlet housing with hose pliers (J38185) before filling the cooling system.
