How to replace the Hood Cable on 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500?

In order to be able to replace the Hood Cable, lift up and sustain the hood. Pull out the cable on the latch and retainer, and thrust it into the cab. Unscrew, remove the trim panel, screws and then remove the handle. During installation, the cable should be run backward, the handle attached, and all fixed again and the hood closed.
