How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500?

Vehicle lifting must be done along with proper safety protocols before initiating Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 replacement. Before replacement use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to first disconnect the HO2S connector then remove the sensor. Cover the new oxygen sensor threads with anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 to help with future removal because this compound contains liquid graphite and glass beads. Use an Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the new HO2S then tighten the sensor to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Proceed with reconnecting the HO2S harness connector before lowering the vehicle.
