Start by detaching the negative Battery Cable to start bcm replacement work. You can drop the right console trim panel and detach bcm screws. Disengage its wire harness connectors to extract the bcm unit. Insert the bcm into its designated spot and then connect all bcm wire harness connectors. Tighten the bcm screws to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Reactivate power after placing the right console trim panel back in its original position. During installation of a fresh or rebuilt bcm, you need to configure it first and include programming the bcm separately.
