The hose clamp pliers (J38185) should be used to move the hose clamp away from the water outlet housing before removing the radiator inlet hose from that location. You will need to remove the water outlet housing bolts (302) before taking out the water outlet housing (303) combined with the o-ring seal (304). Clean up the Thermostat (305) while inspecting both surfaces where the water outlet housing o-ring seal connects. The installation starts with Thermostat placement first (305) then follows with the addition of o-ring seal (304) and water outlet housing (303). Use bolts (302) to fasten the water outlet housing before torquing them to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.). Using the hose clamp pliers (J38185) install the hose clamp after reattaching the radiator inlet hose to the water outlet housing. Finally, fill the cooling system.
