How to replace the 4WD Actuator on the Transfer Case on 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

Removing transfer case shield and the front propeller shaft is required to replace the Transfer Case Encoder Motor. Unscrew the electrical connections, dislodge the encoder motor and the gasket. Make sure that the transfer case is in neutral. Installation of new encoder motor, tightening of bolts, reconnecting electrical connections, re-fitting of propeller shaft and shield.
