How to replace the muffler on 2006 Chevrolet Uplander?

To replace the Muffler, raise and support the vehicle. If furnace flares the internal side is damaged with flexible coupling of the Catalytic Converter assembly, extend of vertical ready is to hold change of the rear tube does not great than 6big ups or downs. Then loosen the Catalytic Converter bolts and gasket, then removing the exhaust hanger insulators from the exhaust pipes. Lift and lower the Rear Crossmember after which remove the Muffler and exhaust pipes to the front of the car and above the rear axle. Clean the Muffler flange and the Catalytic Converter flange before reconnecting the new Muffler and exhaust pipes over rear axle and at the back end of the car. Now replace the exhaust hanger insulators on the exhaust pipes, rear crossover for awds, and a new Catalytic Converter Gasket. Mount the Catalytic Converter bolts and tighten them to 34 (25 ft.lbs.) and then drop the vehicle.
