Replacing the power quarter window switch starts with lens removal of the courtesy lamp and the overhead console screw. Pull the overhead console down to unfasten it after grasping the overhead console then remove it from the electrical connectors. Position pliers on the retainers of the power quarter window/multi-function switch and simultaneously pull the switch away from its housing. The power quarter window/multi-function switch installation requires users to insert it into the overhead console opening before connecting the electrical connectors. Press up on the overhead console to fasten its internal components after aligning the console properly. The overhead console screw needs installation with torque set to 2 N.m (18 lb in) before inserting the courtesy lamp lens into the console until it is securely seated.
