How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on 2006 GMC Sierra 3500?

To change the spring shackle, raise and support the vehicle then change the shackle. Unscrew the leaf spring assembly, then unscrew the shackle nut and bolt. Connect the shackle to the spring, attach the nut and the bolt and reassemble the leaf spring assembly and then lower the vehicle.
