How to Service and Repair a Liftgate Hinge on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

When the rear compartment lid hinge is to be replaced, open the rear compartment and mark the hinge position. Remove lid harness, hinge nuts and struts and mark quarter panel hinge position. Remove the Hinge and line it up with the marks and re-attach the components, raising the lid height as required.
