The initial step for replacing the rear side door Window Motor starts with removing the rear door trim panel together with the rear door water deflector while being cautious not to damage the paint surface. First remove the Window Regulator and motor from the access hole in the door panel before removing the Window Motor screws which anchor the Window Regulator to the body. During installation secure the Window Motor bolts to their respective slots on the Window Regulator while torquing them to 6 n.m of strength (53 lb in). Use the access opening for installing both the Window Regulator and motor together before reinstalling the Window Regulator into place. The inspection of the window starts after removing any tape before verifying correct window movement and installing the rear door water deflector and trim panel.
