The first step to replace the front side door Window Motor involves disconnecting the Power Window Switch due to express up/down feature safety concerns. First disconnect both front door trim panel and front door water deflector. Opening the access opening in the inner panel enables you to take out the front door Window Regulator followed by removing the Window Regulator and motor. Separate the power Window Motor bolts from their position on the Window Regulator. Installing the Window Regulator together with the motor requires putting them through the access opening of the inner panel while paying attention to the fastener notice. Fasten the power Window Motor bolts into the Window Regulator while tightening them to 6 n.m (53 lb in). The Window Regulator should be installed with the motor followed by installation of the front door Window Motor. Reinstall front door water deflector after ensuring that the window operates correctly and the installation with front door trim panel completes the process.
