How to replace the front side door window motor on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

Before starting the replacement of front side door Window Regulator motor you must disconnect the Power Window Switch to stop potential express up/down injuries. The front door trim panel must be removed first before moving on to the front door water deflector. Begin by removing the front door Window Regulator and continue by pulling out the Window Regulator together with the motor through the access opening found in the inner panel. Detach all bolts which secure the power Window Motor to the Window Regulator. Placement requires inserting the Window Regulator together with motor through the access opening while tightening power Window Motor bolts to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Follow the protocol to reinstall the front door Window Regulator before inspecting the window's operation and programming. Reinstallation of the front door trim panel follows the replacement of both front door water deflector parts.
