Locate the striker with a grease pencil before you remove the screws from the door striker and pull out the striker. Fitting the new striker into the door opening requires you to place it according to the marked position. Fasten the screws by using torque to reach 20 N.m (15 lb ft). The door striker needs adjustments when required before checking the door for proper operating efficiency. To conclude the procedure install the front or rear trim panel then put back the rear quarter lower trim panel and lower center pillar trim in place.
