How to replace the wiper arm on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

Start by placing wipers in the park spot and removing key before touching the Wiper Arm. Unlock the hood and remove lines between the washer and Wiper Arm. Use the Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) with Wiper Arm nut cover and the Wiper Arm nut removed to take the Wiper Arm away from the wiper transmission. Insert the Wiper Arm onto the wiper transmission so that it matches precisely with the small openings in the windshield blackout (1 and 2). Apply thread locking fluid gm p/n 89021297 with equivalent product to the Wiper Arm nut before installing the Wiper Arm nut and tightening it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). First put back the Wiper Arm nut cover then connect the washer hose to the Wiper Arm. Once done use windshield wipers to test the feature and close the hood last.
