How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2007 Buick Rainier?

In order to replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor, first of all, just turn OFF the ignition. You will then unlatch the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector, followed by pressing the retainer locking tabs inward and pull the retainer up to remove it. Next, eject the MAP sensor and examine MAP sensor seal for any type of damage, replacing it if needed. For the installation, start with the installation of the MAP sensor and follow with the installation of the MAP sensor retainer before reconnecting the electrical connector.
