  A: A proper process needs to recover refrigerant first as part of txv installation procedures. The first step before replacement of the Brake Booster vacuum hose includes rerouting both heater hoses and disconnection of the vacuum hose from the Brake Booster followed by its new position. Disconnect the Evaporator outlet tube to txv nut and take the tubed off from both the txv and Evaporator inlet tube.
