How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

In order to replace the left air temperature actuator, you need to start by removing the knee bolster. Set the hvac controls to vent mode to allow placing the defroster door lever for access. Next, take the left hand temperature door lever bolt from the hvac module, then disconnect and pull the left hand temperature door lever spring and the left hand temperature door from the left hand temperature door. Remove the left mount screws and take out the left hand air temperature actuator removing its electrical connector. For installation, place the left hand air temperature actuator on and use the mounting screws to fasten it with the full torque of 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). Connect the electric connector to make sure the long hole is pin connected with the slot on the left hand temperature door lever. Install the left hand temperature door lever onto the left hand temperature door, connect the left hand temperature door lever spring to both the lever and hvac module case, and install the lever bolt into the hvac module case while tightening it to 0.9 n.m (8 lb in). Finally, reinstall the knee bolster.
