How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

The first step to replace the left air temperature actuator requires unboltting the knee bolster. Position your hvac controls to vent mode to access the defroster door lever. To access the hvac module begin by removing the left hand temperature door lever bolt followed by disconnecting and removing the left hand temperature door lever spring and left hand temperature door lever from the left hand temperature door. Remove the left hand air temperature actuator by disconnecting its electrical connector and then unfastening all mounting screws and removing the entire component. Secure the new left hand air temperature actuator into position using mounting screws while torquing them to 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). First establish the electrical connection before you place the left hand temperature door lever while making sure the actuator pin matches the lever slot. Correctly reattaching the left hand temperature door lever spring now enables connection of the lever to the hvac module case and completion of left hand temperature door lever bolt installation at 0.9 n.m (8 lb in). Finally, reinstall the knee bolster.
