You must first remove the cooling fans and cooling Fan Shroud from the system. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to replace the Radiator outlet hose clamp on the water pump housing. After this step the Radiator outlet hose can be detached from the water pump housing. Using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) disconnect the Radiator outlet hose from its position on the water pump housing and at the Radiator. First disconnect the lower toc line from the Radiator then remove the a/c discharge hose nut from the condenser block before disconnecting the a/c discharge hose from the condenser block and capping or taping off open a/c refrigerant components to stop contamination. Detach the evaporator inlet tube from the condenser block by removing its bolt then cap or tape the tube opening.
