  A: First disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) engine harness electrical connector and afterward remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Start by removing the grip for bypassing the thermostat followed by the bolts that hold the Throttle Body. Then extract the Throttle Body while removing its gasket in the process. Cleaning gasket surfaces involving the Intake Manifold and Throttle Body assembly must always be done without solvents to protect the materials. Clean and inspect both mating surfaces on the Throttle Body Gasket with great care. First install a fresh Throttle Body Gasket then reposition the Throttle Body into its correct spot. Insert Throttle Body bolts at 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque after fitting them into place. Perforate the thermostat bypass pipe then reconnect the engine harness electrical connector to the etc followed by installation of the air cleaner outlet duct.
