2007 Buick Terraza Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the engine flywheel on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: The first step for replacing the engine Flywheel requires removal of the automatic transaxle. The Flywheel holder (J 37096) needs to be installed for the Flywheel security with Crankshaft spin prevention before starting to loosen the Flywheel bolts. Gently loosen the five bolts from the Flywheel apart from the one positioned at the Crankshaft top. Securely hold the Flywheel before unscrewing the final bolt to prevent dropping the component. Rinse the threads inside the bolt holes in combination with the bolt surface of the engine Flywheel. You should start by fitting the Flywheel on the Crankshaft before torquing the Flywheel bolts to finger tightness. Install the automatic transaxle after you fasten the Flywheel bolts to 70 n.m (52 lb ft) while using the Flywheel holder (J 37096).
