  A: Service and repair of the flex plate together with engine Flywheel replacement requires the combination of snap-on(TM) a144a Flywheel turner (A144A) and j 45059 torque angle meter (J 45059). First detach the Transmission Assembly from the system. The engine rotation needs to be stopped with the snap-on(TM) a144a Flywheel turner (A144A) before you remove engine Flywheel bolts to clean and inspect the Flywheel. The first step for installation includes placing the engine Flywheel in position before applying sealant to the engine Flywheel bolts. Install the engine Flywheel bolts at first without torque but continue using the snap-on(TM) a144a Flywheel turner (A144A) to stop wheel movement. The j 45059 shall be used to tighten engine Flywheel bolts in the following sequence: first pass torque at 30 n.m (22 lb ft) and a second pass at a 50-degree angle (J 45059). Finally, reinstall the Transmission Assembly.
