How to replace the rear fog light bulb on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

In order to install a different rear fog lamp bulb, take off the lift gate applique. Loosen the socket of the bulb of the fog lamp by turning it downwards. Take out the old bulb, put in the new one and assemble by twisting the socket clockwise. Attach the electrical connector and re-attach the lift gate applique.
