• Q: How to replace the Tail Light on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

  A: The replacement process for tail lamp installation begins by removing the body side rear trim panel through opening the liftgate. When working on the right side remove the rear speaker. On the left side start by taking out fasteners followed by tilting the auxiliary Blower Motor outward to reveal the tail lamp nuts. Sliding the liftgate close actuator motor control module allows better visibility for maintenance tasks when equipment is available. Begin by uninstalling the tail lamp electrical connector and removing its attachment nuts securing the tail lamp to the body and finish by removing the tail lamp itself. Begin tail lamp installation by placing the assembly into position followed by tail lamp electrical connector connection then secure the tail lamp to the body with nuts tightened to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Install the rear seat belt retractor but for the right side replace the rear speaker and for the left side put back the auxiliary Blower Motor and liftgate close actuator motor control module. Attach the body side rear trim panel after closing the liftgate.
