How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

Start by disabling the SIR system followed by lower trim cover removal to access the Turn Signal Multifunction Switch. Begin by placing the column into its CENTER position then unplug the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly connectors. Two pan head tapping screws must be removed from the assembly before pulling out the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. During installation maintain contact between the electrical connection and turn signal cancel cam assembly. Tighten the assembly with two pan head tapping screws while applying 3 N.m of torque to the column top screw and 7 N.m to the front screw. Connect the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly while also reinstalling the upper and lower trim covers and enabling the SIR system.
