Begin the speaker replacement process of the passenger seat by using a plastic flat-bladed tool to remove the retaining clips at the bottom of the speaker grille before carefully removing the whole speaker grille from the seat. Begin the replacement by removing the screws that keep the speaker onto the seat position followed by pulling out the speaker and disconnecting the harness lead from the speaker before you take out the speaker grille retainer. Start by placing the speaker grille retainer before connecting the harness lead to the speaker and properly disposing the speaker harness into the seat according to the Fastener Notice. Install 4 retention screws to the bottom of the seat speaker and tighten them to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in). Complete the installation by positioning the speaker grille onto the seat frame and pressing it while ensuring that retaining clips move into place.
