Start the evap canister purge solenoid replacement by detaching the negative Battery Cable and disconnecting the evap canister purge solenoid connector before removing the vacuum hoses from the solenoid. Start by using a 10 mm socket to loosen the bracket bolt which connects the evap canister purge solenoid to the Intake Manifold. Afterward unclip the solenoid from its mounting bracket. Attach the solenoid to the mounting bracket before installing it together with the bracket onto the Intake Manifold by tightening the bracket bolt to 5 n.m (44 lb in). After vacuum hose and solenoid connector reinstallation you should reconnect the negative Battery Cable.
