Starting to replace the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve requires users to disconnect the negative Battery Cable. Move on to disconnect both the evap canister purge solenoid connector and its attached vacuum hoses from the evap canister purge solenoid. Extract the evap canister purge solenoid from its position on the Intake Manifold. Connect the evap canister purge solenoid to the Intake Manifold before installing the vacuum hoses and evap canister purge solenoid connector. Reposition the negative Battery Cable as the final step.
