The replacement of the exhaust gas recirculation valve pipe begins with egr pipe bolt removal from the Intake Manifold and the EGR Valve. Lift the vehicle before using suitable support equipment. Next perform the procedure by removing the lower mounting bolt that links the egr pipe to the Intake Manifold and follow by extracting the egr pipe itself. Start installation by attaching the egr pipe and its lower bolt to the Intake Manifold while securing them to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Secure the egr pipe mounting bolts onto the EGR Valve where they should be tightened to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Finally roll down the vehicle before securing the egr pipe mounting bolts to the Intake Manifold at 12 n.m (106 lb in torque).
