Proper installation of the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve begins by removing the negative Battery Cable followed by the evap canister purge solenoid connector which permits the vacuum hose removal from the solenoid before its extraction from the Intake Manifold. The proper installation includes attaching a new evap canister purge solenoid to the Intake Manifold before reconnecting vacuum hoses and solenoid connector and finally reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
