How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?

The first step to change the rear compartment lid lock cylinder is to disconnect the vehicle's negative Battery Cable. Uninstall the clips for both the rear compartment lid and trim before disconnecting the electrical wire and removing the lock rod. Following previous actions remove the bolt and the lock cylinder. Install the bolt and lock cylinder together in the correct order and make sure to tighten the cargo compartment lock cylinder bolt to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Put in the lock rod before you put on the rear compartment trim clips and then connect the negative battery terminal again.
