How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on a Notchback on Chevrolet Aveo?

You should start the replacement process of the notchback Trunk Lock Cylinder by turning off the car's battery. Remove buttons from the trunk lid trim to take off the rear storage lid. Disconnect electrical wires and the lock rod next. Take off the bolt plus the lock cylinder piece. The new lock cylinder needs to be fastened to the bolt using 4 n.m (35 lb in) torque. Connect the lock rod to its proper position before putting back the clips from the trunk lid trim. Then reattach the negative Battery Cable to the battery.
