You should begin by lifting the hood before supporting it and marking the position of the Hood Latch and the fasteners. Take out the Hood Latch from the radiator support by removing the bolts which attach it to the support. The Hood Latch must have its release cable detached before continuing. Begin the installation stage by linking the hood release cable to the Hood Latch then set the Hood Latch properly along the radiator support . Begin by installing the bolts loosely before moving on to position both the Hood Latch and fasteners according to markings that were marked earlier. Tighten the Hood Latch until the striker on the hood smoothly connects with the latch. After that, set the hood height and front hood bumpers correctly to match the fenders. Close the hood after tightening the radiator support Hood Latch bolts to 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
