  A: The first step for replacing the Fuel Filler Hose involves cleaning both the fuel and evaporative emission (EVAP) connections and the surrounding area because contamination must be avoided. Drain the fuel system pressure and unscrew the fuel fill pipe screws which are located in the fuel filler pocket. The first step is to lift and suspend the vehicle and then take off the bolt from the fill pipe bracket which is attached to the underbody rail. Detachment of the evap line from the bracket and loosening the fuel fill pipe clamp at the Fuel Tank will allow fuel fill pipe hose removal from the Fuel Tank. The install process starts with detaching the fastener between the Fuel Tank vent pipe and the vent pipe followed by removing the Fuel Tank fill pipe. After fastening the vent pipe quick connect fitting onto the Fuel Tank vent pipe quick connect fitting you must tighten the fuel fill pipe clamp at the Fuel Tank to a torque value of 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). At first connect the evap line to its bracket and install the fill pipe bracket bolt on the underbody rail before tightening it to 13 n.m (115 lb in). End the sequence with lowering the vehicle and fastening the fuel fill pipe screws into the fuel filler pocket with 2.5 n.m (22 lb in) torque before you apply the intake manifold cover.
