How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) for the intake on 2007 Chevrolet Malibu?

Engine wiring harness electrical connector must first disconnect from the CMP sensor before both removing the CMP sensor bolt and sensor from the intake area. Always check the CMP sensor for damage during installation before moving forward whereas a replacement should happen if damage occurs. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring seal before the sensor installation with the CMP sensor bolt secured at 10 N.m (89 lb in). The installation process ends with connecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the intake CMP sensor.
