How to replace the Starter Solenoid on 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic?

In order to change the starter motor solenoid, dismount the starter motor and re-fit the M-terminal stud weather cover. Wipe off the M-terminal stud, loosen the nut and take off cable. Take out the solenoid bolts, remove the solenoid, and de-hook the plunger. Install and carefully align solenoid and seal connections with silicone. Check the starter prior to installation.
