How to replace the Dipstick Tube and oil level indicator on 2007 GMC Savana 2500?

Before reinstalling the oil level indicator tube and its pipe replace both the air cleaner assembly and the retaining bolt of the coolant recovery reservoir followed by setting aside the reservoir. Begin by taking out the oil level indicator from the tube before removing the oil level indicator tube bolt and finally pulling out the tube from the engine block. Check the o-ring seal for damage before trying to reuse it provided that it has no sustained cuts. The o-ring seal should be removed from the tube whenever required. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the o-ring seal for its installation onto the oil level indicator tube. Position the tube behind the Exhaust Manifold next install it into the block after supporting the vehicle from above and ensure a level surface with the block. Lower the vehicle after placing the oil level indicator tube bolt which should be tightened to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The coolant recovery reservoir should end up in position for retaining bolt installation followed by air cleaner assembly placement.
