In order to change the evaporator core, begin by taking off the HVAC module. A screwdriver and hammer can be used to remove heat stakes and screws of the assembly. Isolate upper and lower HVAC units, take off evaporator core and replace it with the new one filled with refrigerant oil. Install the modules and change the gasket. Lastly, insert the HVAC module assembly back.
