How to replace the rear brake line on 2008 Buick Enclave?

When replacing a rear brake hose you need to start by raising and supporting the vehicle before removing the tire and wheel ensemble. Using a back up wrench on the brake hose fitting you should disconnect it after first cleaning the brake pipe fitting and using a cap to prevent fluid loss. After removing the brake hose bracket bolt and brake hose fitting bolt you should discard the two brake hose fitting gaskets before taking off the brake hose. Position the new brake hose before installing two new brake hose fitting gaskets. Use a 40 N.m (30 lb ft) torque while installing the brake hose fitting bolt and then use 12 N.m (106 lb in) torque when tightening the brake hose bracket bolt. Use a back up wrench to tighten the brake pipe fitting at 17 N.m (13 lb ft). Complete a hydraulic brake system bleed then replace tire and wheel components before lowering down the vehicle.
