How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

When you replace the brake pedal position sensor start by uninstalling the instrument panel insulator. Locate but do not remove the connector position assurance as you disconnect its electrical connection. Take out the bolt then take out and throw away the brake pedal position sensor. Install GM adhesive 12345493 to the screw then position the fork of the new sensor onto the bracket pin. Rotating the sensor will align its locator to the extension bracket hole. Put the new brake pedal position sensor bolt in place and tighten it to 2.0 N.m (18 lb in). Connect and secure the electrical connector to install the pedal position sensor. Complete the process by testing the sensor and putting back the I/P insulation.
