How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

The initial step to shift the Windshield Wiper and washer switch involves disabling the sir system. Take off the Steering Column trim panels and Steering Column wiring tether clamps. Take off the electrical connections from the switch and remember the Steering Column wiring harness path for reinstallation. Lift the wire harness shield from the lower Steering Column area and take out the wire bundle. Disconnect the electrical cable ends of the Windshield Wiper and washer switch before releasing the locking button on the switch to remove it from the Steering Column. Simply insert the new Windshield Wiper and washer switch to the Steering Column and join its electrical connections. Fasten the wire harness to the wire harness shield below the Steering Column while wiring the electrical switch and plugging its electrical connector. Fix both wiring harness tie straps into place afterwards. Place the Steering Column trim covers back on and switch sir (Steering Column Inflator System) on.
