Begin by taking out the engine mount struts after which you can raise the vehicle. A long extension should be used to disconnect the Catalytic Converter and exhaust crossover pipe nuts before unscrewing both the Exhaust Manifold bolts and the manifold itself while discarding the old gasket. Before installing a new Exhaust Manifold you need to uninstall heat shield bolts and heat shield while cleaning the surfaces that need to be sealed. The installation process requires users to place the heat shield onto the new Exhaust Manifold followed by bolt tightening to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Before installation put the bolt through but pass it through a manifold hole then set a new gasket on top and finalize the alignment by tightening the bolt until it becomes secure.
