How to replace the negative battery cable on a right-hand drive on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

Now to remove the battery negative cable from a right-hand drive vehicle, start by turning out the fuel injector sight shield. Remove the negative Battery Cable and remove the instrument panel (I/P) wiring harness, disconnecting from the negative Battery Cable electrical connector as well as the battery current sensor. After that, disconnect the ground bolt at the Cylinder Head and the ground bolt at the vehicle's chassis, remove the negative Battery Cable. For the installation, consider attaching the new negative cable at the Cylinder Head, afterwards putting the ground bolt and tightening it to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Then take the negative Battery Cable to the strut tower and install the second ground bolt, and tighten it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Connect the i/p wiring harness electric connector back to the battery current sensor and the negative Battery Cable electric connector. Lastly, reconnect the negative cable to the battery and reinstall the fuel injector sight shield. Always see that the replacement cables correspond to the type, diameter and length of the original cables and that the routing is the same as the original cables.
